It finally looks like a house!

We went by the house yesterday and I snuck by there again this evening. Yesterday the roof was on and all framing on both floors was done. We also had a front door. Today I noticed some black and silver hose looking things (I have no clue what they are, lol) hanging from the ceiling and the pipes for the kitchen and bathrooms were there. I forgot the camera both days so the cell phone camera pics aren't that great. One question for any Milan owners or builders: my husband thinks my closet (the one thru the bathroom) seems smaller than what we saw in the model and based on the floor plan. Does anyone else feel that way? I have no concept of space and measurements and it is way bigger than my closet now so I really can't tell the difference. I asked a few days ago how often do you guys reach out to your PMs; we haven't spoken to ours since the pre construction meeting but I am okay with that because we go by the house every few days so we can see the progress so we really haven't had a need to contact him. I'm sure he isn't complaining about not hearing from us, lol. We have neighbor that will probably close around the same time as us and we were wondering how we will be able to determine the property lines after they are finished building both....I guess that is a question we can ask the PM.....

We have walls.......(well, sort of)

We went by the house today and since Thursday the entire first floor has been framed and they have started on the second floor. The garage floor has also been cemented. Here are some pics....

Goodmorning

Goodmorning home builders. I went by our home site after work yesterday and they made some progress even with the rain we had. The only issues I have is our community is still pretty new as far as selling homes and I don't know how long it will be before we have any paved roads. Right now theres about 12 total homes that being built and lived in right now. When the subdivision is done there will be 100 plus homes. Does anyone know how long it took for their streets to get paved? I kinda don't want to drive thru mud and gravel when we move in. And we will post some pics later to day.

Making progress...

We have a foundation! We also got a chance to meet some of our neighbors. We thought they were the neighbors that are right next to us, but they will be a street over. So far the neighbors we have met have been friendly. I am hoping when we go back this weekend they have started framing. It looks like they are moving quickly and they work on the weekends which is good because we have had 2 days with rain this week.

A few questions for you guys:

How often do you reach out to the PM for updates?
How often do you go to the site to see progress?
